Curb Appeal When Selling Your Home

When your home is for sale, one of the most important things you can do is to make the outside look so inviting that buyers want to come inside. That's called 'Curb Appeal.' Good curb appeal

The home pictured on the right, for instance, has an inviting walk leading up to the front door. The owners have chosen blue hydrangeas to draw your eye up the flower-lined walkway. A variety of shrubs and trees add interest to the attractive home. If you were lookng for a home to buy, wouldn't you want to see inside this one?

Curb appeal is something home owners can address as they live in the home - don't wait until you decide to move!

The house itself needs to be well maintained and painted in attractive colors. Fences and driveways are also part of your home's curb appeal.

Flowers, shrubs, trees and lawn are a part of your home's curb appeal that can be improved every year. Just go to your local garden center every couple of weeks to see what plants are in bloom in your area. Add a few as your time and budget permit.
